Local attractions

Stanhoe
Stanhoe is a picturesque small village near
Burnham Market and only 6 miles from the sea at Brancaster.
The cottage is in a quiet lane just a few yards from a large duck pond – where
the ducks love to be fed – and there is a pub serving local ale and
lunchtime/evening meals close by.
Just 15 minutes away,
there are miles of sandy, unspoilt beaches, uncrowded
even at the height of the season. Sailing, golf, bicycle hire and riding are
all available locally and the area is renowned for bird-watching at many
reserves along the coast. Theatre, cinema, and concerts in nearby towns and
many historic buildings, including Sandringham and Blickling, are all easily accessible, There is a weekly
market in Fakenham and other local markets, antique
fairs and events. The many family attractions include the beach and rides at Hunstanton, farm parks and nature trails and even a
dinosaur park!
Vine Cottage is the
ideal place to relax and a most comfortable base from which to explore this
delightful region.

Places of interest and
activity are far too numerous to list, but here are a few:
